Short riding day due to a lack o sleeping accommodations. I am finding in these less populated areas that when my overnight options are limited so are my miles in some situations. On this day i ended up staying at a hiker and bicycler only hostel. This place was situated behind a church and excepts donations for the use of a wooden bunk. Maybe not very appealing to most but if you are an A.T. hiker (Appalachian trail) this setup is pretty sweet. Hot shower and a place to sleep with few other options made this a spot for me also. An unusual sort these folks were. Mostly college grads who could not find jobs. There trail names were a bit odd for sure.
