This concludes map#9. Only one map to go. A bad day of cycling always beats a good day of work. Maybe not if you spent it trying to punch a hole in a 15 m.p.h. headwind for 60 miles. NO COMPLAINING!!!! STOP!!! O.K. ,O.K. i'm almost there. I had a chance to stop at a rest stop that I had stopped at last summer when I took the harley cross country and the same guy was sitting in the same spot. Really weird. No more packing a full days worth of water and food as the repetitious summits and valleys are over. I will still be in Nevada for one more day but the towns are spaced much closer together. One flat day. One big climbing day over the Sierra Nevadas , 4 days with brother Ted, one day to S. F. and we are done.
